What's up guys? Been a while. Definitely time to retire the 2500hd. What about taking a 70s c10 and putting it on an escalade chassis? The rest of the escalade would obviously be scrapped. NP149, 4l80e, lc9, 228/228 cam, Borg S480. I think that would be cool.
Not sure I would want the awd ( although I don't have an issue with it on out Denali) , otherwise it could be a great swap.

Thanks for the reply. Looking for 900ish horsepower and actually be able to go somewhere without spinning on street tires. My 600hp heavy 2wd truck spins bad. It will hook from 40 plus, but that is no fun at stop lights.

Np149 is a badass transfer case. It's not like the Denali SUV Borg Warner AWD crap. Np149 can take tons of power, and has a viscous clutch that can send 100% power to either axle, but has a 60/40 split under normal conditions.

Thanks for the reply and yes I know! The NP149 has been rebuilt with a repsplined input for the 4l80E!

Well, that is a bit different. And sounds fun.

On a side note I thought the Denali and Escalade used the same awd case.

I am not sure on all the years. Silverado SS had them, and early escalade tahoe as well. The google interchange is misleading.

LOL, the tahoe police! I did find some info on another turbo tahoe. Not only did he remove the middle and rear seats, he switched to an aluminum block, and drilled holes in the rear bumper!!!OMG! I can get you his instagram info so you can school him.
the bumper on the nnbs is like para shoot...
