Hello-
When I switch on my parking lights or night time lights the left turn signal blinks fast like the lightbulb is out. However the bulb is not out and the right signal is blinking as well. This only happens on the left side while the parking lights have been switched on. All bulbs have been changed to manufacturer specs. the problem is also intermittent. Could the flasher be failing? I have check as much wiring as I can and see no bare spots or rubbing. Since the problem is intermittent could the switch in the cab be causing it? Thank you

Front signals or rear?
On my 1997, similar issue on rear turn signals was corrected by purchasing new pc board that the light bulbs plugged into. cost about $30 at the dealership.

Correct it is the rear turn signals. Is the PC board located in the fuse panel? Or the actual board the bulbs plug into? There are some burn marks and melted areas on each of the harnesses that the bulbs sit in.

The board is inside the tailights themselves.
All the bulbs: tail light, stoplight and reverse lights plug into it. Dealership item around $30.00.

Mine blows the fuse when I use the left turn signal. I've replaced everything but the turn signal switch. It's still not fixed.

I had the same problems with my rear lights, like he said above you have to replace the motherboard which the bulbs plug into, got mine off ebay for $12.

same problem with the left side. It flashed fast and also had a light out on the right side. I was also getting a code for board failure. replaced both rear light assemblies and no problems.

the problem in there is the signal light switch. I had the same problem with yours and tried to replace tail light bulb and the problem still exists. So I had no other thinking for the problem but the signal light switch. Might as well take a look at yours. Hope you get it done soon!

Thanks. I ended up taking the taillight assembly apart and the board did indeed have burn marks on it. I bought new taillight assemblies on ebay for 40 bucks that came with tail lights, bulbs and new boards. Problem is gone.
