Tail Light Swap

Just caught a DEAL on eBay for OEM denali tails. I want to know how hard the swao it. Wanted to to that $400 LED smoke tail but for 1/4 the price it'll look great with the black paint and can save money for more mods!

how hard is the swap? anyone do a step by step?

You have to pull the appliques above the tails off, but you're only talking about 3-4 screws on each side. Should take 15 total.

What? I've never had to remove appliqués to swap taillights

my tail lights went 1/2" up into the applique and had to remove one of the screws to get it out... if I remember correctly... If not, it's even easier!!!

Yeah mine was 2 screws and pulled right out

My Denali only had the 2 screws beside the taillight as soon as you open the rear hatch.
