Hey I have been looking around the forum for awhile and finally decided to dive in on my torsion bars and a 3in body lift. But I am wondering how do you measure how much you have cranked your torsion bars. I see that if you put it above 2in that things can go bad so I don't want to mess anything up by over cranking them. I have a 95 Yukon 2 door that I am going to be doing this on I will post some pictures up once I re-size them.

Awesome thank you! If they have a little crank on them already should I bring them all the way back down and start over just to stay safe? also when I do it should i put the truck on jacks or does it matter?

how about a front end picture looking to the rear showing you bottom end first. Otherwise you are asking for trouble and it can be time consuming to fix. Adjustments made only with weight off wheels.
