Check all the pins at all the connectors and make sure there's none bent. Especially the connector at the bottom of the unit.

Well, even after saving back on this card I find our envoy geeks out when I start the tech2 and it connects. Went in fine on the second attempt. I wonder if it is the card or the vci module.

take a meter and check the obd port on the envoy, just to verify the can bus is intact, if there is a short it can do all kinds of weird shit

That's the thing with my life. Never time for me to do the stuff I wanna do at a reasonable pace. it's always in a hurry! And I screw stuff up in the process.

Well I've been trying to access my card on an older laptop. After finally being able to download that MCE program and install it, I'm running into problems getting it to run. It says something about specifying another memory area, like D000 or D3FFF.

I don't know how worth it this all is. I am looking for my order confirmation on the replacment card and will chalk it up as a lesson learned.

I got it working and I'm copying the contents of the card to a .bin file which is 32mb
