I figured out the FOB thing, when I selected 4 instead of 3 for the product code I was able to reprogram the FOB

I thought it only gave you the selection of "D" or "K" for the product code?

I had "car" selected, not the light truck option. I thought I posted that, but I mustn't have hit submit before I shut my computer off

My Tech2 works on my 2001 Yukon. I think they'll work all the way back to like 1996 on most GM vehicles
