Tech II Programming Cost?

What are you guys paying when you need to use the tech II's at the dealership?

I installed power folding mirrors and need to get my tahoe flashed to have everything working properly...Every place here in Dallas/Ft. Worth wants $100+, which I think is a little absurd when its going to take them 10 minutes to make the download...

I installed them on my 2008 and it required more then a reflash. They had to call tach because it was not built with this option. Tach charged the dealer $200 for the download then it had to be flashed to the truck.

My 2005 was very simple, just a reflash but this NNBS got more expensive

I didn't do it for my mirrors but I got my dealer to flash my new factory nav screen and sure enough... it was $100 flat. Well worth to get the screen working but DEFINITELY a rip off. On a side note, if you guys own a 2007 (not 08+) you can call GM Nav Disk and get a free 2011 upgrade nav disk FREE OF CHARGE! That's a 200.00 value for FREE. Yes you heard right. FREE!!! Can't believe it myself.. PM me for details if you need more info!

yeah i was told 115.95 for reprogram of TPMS for the E load rating (50-60 psi) tires I have now

$100 is about right. I had the tilt and motion sensor installed and they wanted $200 to reflash both. I asked them why are they charging me twice for the same job. They dropped it to $100.

Well I found a chevrolet Tech that works at a dealership in Ft. Worth that will do it for about 30 bucks, also he will come to you or meet you somewhere for a little more but its well worth it imo...if you live in the DFW area and you need some programming done shoot me a pm and ill give you his name and number.

I paid $37 for my TPMS reprogram. They charged me based on time it took.
