I have a 07 Yukon Denali and I’m only getting 11.5-12 mpg city driving. Wondering if that’s normal or if I should be looking into something

Sounds like you just got the rig since you don't say anything like, "I used to get better mileage". Are there any CEL? Have you done work to the rig recently? My Tahoe, 2002, gets about 12-13 MPG during town/city driving. I average only about 3000 miles a year because I live where I work. To me, depending on how stock your rig is and not knowing how you drive it, I would say the MPG is about normal.

How long since last tune work and fuel and air filter changes? Cleaned the MAF lately? Cleaned the throttle bore? Air pressure in tires correct?

Obviously a few factors to consider. Engine, gearing, etc, but I think you're in the ballpark.

As mentioned, plugs/ wires, clean maf/ throttle body, air filter.

Check that your brakes are lubricated well and not dragging.

That's about the same mileage that I averaged on my 07 Yukon XL Denali, before I got a performance tune on it (which reduced my mileage by another 2 mpg).
