1) Not a boomer
2) The truck still looks stupid and isn't practical at all.
3) Sorry, call me anti-range anxiety but that would never work as a tow vehicle cross country (unless it was being towed). That's why I have a truck.

Sorry guys.. I fed the troll again.

Your anger and emotion about a new American vehicle is delicious.

Thank you!!!

I’d call it a refundable deposit.

Depends on which side your looking at it from. As the consumer it is only a $100 you can get back anytime which goes exactly with your thinking. As a corporation they an influx of cash to which some will have to be paid back at some point.

If they were serious about it it wouldn't have so low or refundable but spin it how you want though.

Dud: Noun. Something with 1/4 of a million preorders that actively triggers boomers and boomers at heart.

This is supposed to be a safe space with plenty of trigger warnings, that facts will be presented. And if neither boomers nor snowflakes can handle the truth, then it’s up to us Xers to lay it down. EVs are here to stay and almost every big auto manufacturer has an EV transition plan, including GM. And I will give credit to Tesla for accelerating the conversation.

Don't call it an American vehicle.

It's anti-American.. American vehicles are all about no boundaries and the freedom of the open road.

This monstrosity is about range anxiety and eco-snobbery

LOL!! Great gramps, is that you?!?!?

“My horse can get fuel on the side of ANY road! That rich snob with a car has to plan his trip based on where he can find gas!”

You’re welcome to hate American ingenuity, technology and entrepreneurial spirit.

But everyone is welcome to point and laugh when you do.

Free country and all.

I'm not a Gramps..

I live in the North Metro Atlanta area.

Nearest Tesla Supercharger station: 26 miles (46 minutes according to Google Maps @ 10pm EST).

Nearest Gas Station w/ Diesel? .5 miles (3 minutes).

No, not happy with that. LOL

Then there is the misuse of "it's" as possessive. The only time an apostrophe should be used within "its" is as a contraction; e.g., "it is" or "it has".

Well, shit. I had always thought "it's" was the possessive form. I swear a language arts teacher in middle school said something to the effect of "If it has something, then it has an apostrophe." This was decades ago so I'm probably wrong.

Thank's for the grammer complex.
