We can only hope that the majority of them remain in Commiefornia to live their fantasy lives among their like-minded peers.
Unfortunately they keep moving up here to Oregon in waves every time they get scared of running out of water or getting burned up. I swear there’s more Tesla’s and Prius up here per capita than anywhere else in North America.

I drive a big gas guzzling Burb.

I could care less what anyone wants to drive.

What I dislike is that some people are actually delusional enough to think that driving an EV is somehow environmentally friendly or that they are saving the planet... they are either extremely ignorant or blatantly stupid.

The free market will decide whether or not they become mainstream... let nature take its course.

I still like it better my way.

Ignorance means you don't know any better.

Stupid means you know better but don't care.

If they are blatantly stupid that means they know better but refuse to admit it.

Perhaps I should have said willfully stupid, that seems more fitting.

the main thing is the warranty 8yr unlimited and 10 years/150k or 8 years if your over the 150k mark on the battery more then likely you will hit the 10 years before the 150k miles

honestly the people who buy these electric cars will more than likely rent a car if they want to go on a trip..

I have a 2.1k mile trip soon next summer you bet your ass i'll be renting a car that gets 35MPG
freebeeie rental that is

Why? gas price and will not have to put a ton of miles on the Tahoe

Saves money at the pump and repair/maintenance costs

considering hourly labor is 90 to 150 an hour
and fuel being $4 a gallon (well like 3.65 if you get the cheapest crappy gas)

that is why i bought the hybrid version i have to at lest get 18.5 in the city and 25 on the highway to break even to my previous car.....

SUV/truck for 500 miles cost $100-125 to fill up 25 gallons
Super charging station $29 for 500 miles..

No oil changes, minimal maintenance costs

Your emotional anguish and anger over an American success story tells everyone what they need to know. No need for ‘what you dun says’ or whatever.

Congrats on owning a GM product from a decade ago btw, great job!

For giggles.. let's see how a trip to visit family in Sioux Falls, SD would go from My home city of Gainesville, GA driving a Model X (looks like the biggest vehicle they have right now with the Extended Range option). BTW.. there are 6 in my family so, I'd need to strap one to the roof like the Griswold's in Family Vacation. Think my 20 yr old would mind? The 7 yr old would likely be terrified so, probably not an option.

I need to leave my trailer at home.. absolutely no way to make that work.

First screenshot is from Tesla's trip planner site. Second screenshot is from Google Maps.

I'm thinking that's a hard "No". 1d2059e4ae54787ff5afefc8f2c032a6.pnga9a120f4ae58a343c945372361dd57fa.png

Out of ALL the things you just outlined in that scenario, ‘having’ to drive a brand new Tesla instead of a decade old GM is the least nightmarish aspect of it LOL!

We get it man. A Tesla won’t work for you. But honestly...your dogged and emotion fueled determination around trying to convince others it’s ALSO not for them is a little unhinged.

There is nothing wrong with my 10 yr old Escalade. Drives good and I wouldn't hesitate to take it anywhere.

You're just mad I proved it won't work. Get to a point where I can travel the map from Google with a 8k trailer in the same amount of time and that might change my mind.

No emotion here.. just facts.
