I'd hold out for at least $1,500. The truck doesn't have 22" wheels, so I wouldn't be attached. It's a mass produced vehicle, there will be a ton of them soon sitting on lots.

That truck would go for around $63.500 at Laura without a trade.

If you do the Costco route, you should get a $600 gift card, right? That gets you closer to Laura pricing.

Do you have a CarMax close by to see what they offer you on the trade?

ok guys. Another update.

Well, I am scheduled to pick up my Yukon next Saturday. As for price, I think I definitely left some on the table in terms of negotiating. They say "don't fall in love with the car", I couldn't help it. This was the only dealership that had Champagne Silver in the vicinity (believe me, I checked CT, NJ and NY).

So, in the end, the selling price was just shy of $66k because I got him to go 50/50 on the Thule hitch storage compartment. Will get a $600 cash card from Costco. Also, the dealership is running a promo whereby first 100 to buy/lease get a free 32" plasma TV which will mount nicely in my poker room (i.e. basement). Hopefully, they still have some left by the time I pick up the car.

In the end, not sure if I could have gotten them go any lower given that I had walked out on them yesterday. In terms of instant gratification, I don't think I could have waited a few months for GM to catch up on dealer allocations.

Will be sure to post pics!!!
