Man, this is a bunch of Bullsh*t. Eveyone that lives in Texas that had 20% window tint will no longer pass inspection. Now the state requirement is now 25%.

ride with limo. Who cares just pay the ticket if you get pulled over. If I want my car looking a certain way I am sure not going to let the state dictate how I can mod my cars.

This is only for the front windows right? You can still have limo on the back. Or does this mean 25% all the around?

TX state law is 25% on front windows and nothing below the "AS1" line on windshield...you can paint the back windows black if you want

The law was 35% on the front windows and they reduced it to 25%...so they have actually lightened up on the regulations

My 2001 z71 tahoe had this exact tint pattern. I got pulled over three different times for it and they told me the back windows were too dark/illegal too. My current vehicle is 35% which matches the back. I think thats what LA state law is. I think it is at least... Not 100% Sure... that's just what the tint guy said.
