Update to the epic 1500HD build thread, sorry I haven't been on the forums lately yall, been hella busy!

Next lil addon is gonna be my GoRhino push bumper I ordered last week should get it by Tuesday or Wednesday? That'll be housing my 2 siren speakers and a couple lights and some strobes. I hooked up one of my 2 antennas and there wired with the coax but not to the cb yet. The Viair tank and compressor was through bolted into the bed on the passanger side behind the toolbox, the grover stutter horns gonna be going onto the headache rack firing towards the front =]. Expect lots of electronic goodies in the following week.

Do you like the black fender flare look? Since it's stark white, it would be very easy to spray them white with the dupli-color paint shop pro system like how I painted the flares on my yukon. It'd even be easier since all you'd have to do for prep is maybe hit them with 3m red and some prep-all instead of sanding.

When are you going to have pics of the push bumper up? Did you ever get your custom console finished? Can you pull a wheel off of your 2dr and stick it on the back so we can visualize what 33's are gonna look like? lol

Yo Hotrod, good idea with the fender flares, maybe I will paint them white, but I'll have the paint guy do that. Maybe even another color? And then do a stripe or a pinstripe? I've always liked the 2 tone thing. I'm really torn about wheels tires... I saw a pic of a truck that I really liked, I might just have to go with these wheels/tires. If not I'm gonna do 17" AR Mojave Teflons.

Im definetly gonna get the Z71 bumper on their. I'm gonna do some HD towing mirrors, and the push bumper won't get here until possibly monday or tuesday of next week now, since its coming from Cali. Ughhhhh.
Tomorrow will be the day for all wiring of modules and finishing up the CB system / air horn. Its my day off.

Nice man! The pic of the truck you posted up is crazy badass. It's gonna look really good when you get your wheels tires. I see those wheels all the time for about $400 with good tires on craigslist. The only thing about running them is that since they aren't the 17x9, they won't stick out as far as the soft8's you were thinking about getting so the flares would look a little lonely.....like tossing a hot dog down a hallway. I think my rims were about $400 for everything...rims..caps..lug nuts. The real expense is the tires.

My two cents is that the soft 8's will round your truck out and tie in all the black accessories and give it more of a tactical look and you won't have to paint any of the black pieces white.

I look forward to seeing your truck progress and I know how it is having to do mods within your budget. I hope you don't think I'm rushing you hehehe.

Haha, I appreciate the advice hotrod. You seem to be one of the only ones to understand ='[ (insert fake gayness). I'm gonna stick with the cragar's because I've ALWAYS wanted cragars on a truck or a car. And its time.

Toyo M/T tires in, LT285/75R17 121P E/10 (34X11.50R17)
and the Cragar soft 8's in 17x9 will be whats going on the truck.
Only time will tell ha.
