Looks cool, they call those Tech-2 emulators. The adapter looks familiar, was that mentioned a few pages back in this post or somewhere else last year? Yeah, I just looked at the screen, it's called a VX something or other. It also has GDS software and links for programming on the tablet's screen. Price wise, I would think it high but do not know and did not read the specs for the tablet.

I will add you could assemble something very similar for less money the vxdiag can be had for about $100-120, and then you just need the tablet running windows and those can be found for under a $100 all day long.

Pretty much what I was wondering.

Around 1996 I believe.
I should be getting my Tech2 in a few days.

First thing I need to do with it is hook it up to the '01 Yukon and command a HVAC actuator recalibration. I'm hoping that's what's causing the mode actuator to continuously click when turned all the way to the left (dash vents). It will stop clicking if you move the dial one click up. It just seems that when the dial is turned all the way the actuator is moving past it's range and will constantly click every second. I tried to do a recalibration in the past by unplugging the fuse for a bit then KOEO, but didn't hear the actuators moving/recalibrating
