the notorious clunk sound, HELP ME PLZ

hello everybody im new to the denali world just purchased a 2002 yukon denali and i love it besides this clunk sound it makes when i make a hard left or right turn, i took it to 2 shops i spent $1500 on replacing parts on stuff i needed anyway but the problem still exist, can anyone put me in the right direction? i have another friend who has this same sound on his denali too must be a common problem on the denali how do i fix this?

Intermediate Steering Shaft (ISS)

Easy and inexpensive fix. DIY. Do a search on this forum. All sorts of info.

Tighten the cross-member bolts in the front. If it's still there, replace the intermediate shaft also.

ive had this clunk for a year..
is it the upper or lower iss that needs to be replaced? uppers are all over ebay under $60..

I'm taking it to the dealer 2day wish me look hope they don't come back with some bull I wanna try to keep this fix under $400 plz

The I-shaft will be about $200 and tightening the cross-member bolts should be no more than $30-$50 in labor only. They should be able to take care of you.
