Thought I would make a thread so I could post some pictures as we move along with this project. It will be a long process, hard to have a project and a ton of other bills to pay but I'm hoping its done sooner than later.

So far what i've accumulated. 2 Viair 480C compressors, 2 8 gallon air tanks. Asco valves, DOT air line, a couple of the fittings and a switchbox.

We had enough to start doing the layout for the rear of the truck so thats where we started. Removed the 3rd seat and all the mounts and started the measurements on how to fit all this in. On a side note we are mounting 2 Type R subs and an amp along with with this setup but for now we concentrated on getting the tanks enclosed.

Heres some pics, will keep updating as we move along. 1st pic of the layout of the tanks with the compressors. The speaker box and amp will go in the middle. 2nd pic of the frame part to hold the tank. 3rd pic of the side wrapped with cloth before we start glassing to see how our contour was going to be.

So the tanks and compressors are going to be on the inside of your ride?

Yes the tanks which are going to get airbrushed and the compressors will be mounted on the inside. I understand the noise issue but to get the look I'm going for at shows I think this will work the best. One thing I've noticed at shows is people are nosey, they like to ask questions and it helps if a majority of the setup is there for them to see.
