Hi guys I'm new to this forum. I have a 99 2 door Tahoe and today I tried to install a stock radio that I got from a junkyard. I installed the radio and it worked fine. There were no codes as I expected from the TheftLock and the radio was playing music. I then tried to start my truck and that's when the problems began.

The truck wouldn't turn over and somehow my Gage fuse was blown as a result. I then replaced the fuse with the spare and it worked fine, but again the truck wouldn't turn over. I decided to just put back the original radio that came with the truck. That didn't help and this time the truck made something reset and my daytime running lights were on when they weren't before. Everything, including the radio works in the truck, but now it won't even crank.

I have no idea what to do now. I don't want to mess with anything else for fear of screwing something else up. The truck won't start and I need help ASAP. If anyone has had an experience like this or any advice that could help solve this please let me know. Thank you for your help and your time!
