as soon as it happened I remembered when I was texting you about it and you said "come to think of it I didn't do anything, it ripped down... THEN I could cut it"

I just beat it back into place for the time being

well got my alignment today
my steering wheel is no longer crooked while driving straight
the height was not effected (Blizzard)
I started with close to -4º camber and now its down to -2.2º
the Les Schwab guy struggled with it but he got it pretty close to spec

it drives a lot smoother now

I did notice today.. I looked underneath the front end and even though I had trimmed my bump stops one notch they are still smashed to the frame

is there a free travel mod for the front lol?

The front stops are normal, GM calls them jounce stops though some bilsteins would help the ride quality:

I've got the Belltech Toxic Drop 2 shocks up front and it already is better than stock but I would LOVE to have bilsteins front and back

Blizzard was tellin me about the Z71 stops.. how are they different?

The z71 stops protrude out at the top giving it a bit of a pre-bumpstop. The bilsteins pictured above have an integrated bumpstop on the shaft which really smoothed my truck out, now I just have to notch the rear frame to get the ride quality back on that end.

Factory height bilstein HDs work with shock extensions up to a 5" drop, I'm looking at the 5100 series 18.5" extended length part # BE5-6251-H5 for my truck with a 7ish spring.

So, from what I am understanding, the regular bilstein HDs are shorter and ride better than the factory air rides on the denali? part # how much shorter are they? Thankls
