These 2023 power light up steps look fugly. Am I alone in this?

My MOM asked if I bought them on amazon... should give you an idea about how I feel about them lol. I like the light though, appearance wise they look like an after thought.

I suppsoe if you hate them that much, you could consider getting some sort of opaque light filter and replace the clear one that is on the boards...wouldn't be that difficult to slide in some different plastic, or have someone put a frosted film on them.
