Third row instalation

Hey guys, I'm new to this site. Just purchased an 02 z71 hoe this evening. Mine came minus the third row as a option. I'm wondering if any one has ever installed one in a Tahoe that did not originally come with one?

Lots of people...there are some how-to's on you tube.

You need...
- cut the provisions in the carpet...
- get the 3rd row seats...
- get the 3rd row brackets (seen on eBay regularly)
- a couple hours of time...

Depending where you are located, you might need a tap to go through the nuts welded on the frame. I'm in Michigan and there was a ton of rust and gunk on the nuts so I had to get a tap and go through each hole from the top side. I had to oil them and it was a royal pain. It was almost like threading a brand new hole. I have the tap somewhere if you can't find what size the nuts are.

Hope I don't have that problem. Located in northeast MS. It will be a while before I attempt it just wanted to do my research and know what I'm getting into.
