This ever happen to you guys?

Going to get tint this afternoon...mine is Bermuda Blue Metallic, I've had it for a couple weeks. The color is aptly named, if you've never seen it. It is dark blue in shade/at night but in direct sunlight it turns almost aqua, a good bit of green comes out, just like shallow ocean water.


Yesterday afternoon I was at a stoplight in the left lane and looked over in the right lane, and a lady was beside me in a white NBS Suburban and she looked at my truck, looked over at her husband and said something, then they both looked at my truck and I read her lips say "Wow that car looks good."

It made me smile but then I got pissed when I realized she said car...

She said, "Wow, that guy looks goofy!"

Probably more like "Wow, I hope he gets t-***** by an 18-wheeler."

I get similar reactions when I'm out in my '77 but not in the Burb yet but your Hoe is probably more eye catching than my Burb is at the moment. People are just generally drawn to unique, clean, eye-catching rides

lol - it's always nice to have a ride that YOU are happy with, but it's an added bonus when people like the features of your vehicle too - adds to the pride! I towed a tahoe the same color that you were talking about... it was pretty cool.

Happens all the time even on the highway...a lot of people will wait for me if they see it in a parking lot.
When I have my '01 HD showtruck out a lot of finger pointing and jaw-dropping, having 9" of lift and 37" tires with custom paint etc. is not seen that much around here..being that it's a supercharged 8.1L kinda helps too.
