Those that are lowered with 22s, anyone have a near stock ride? What's your setup?

Good to hear. Do any of these kits work fully with the auto-leveling?

if you want to use auto leveling you will get 5 inches about in rear and in front you cant use the a arms. You will use the spindles and keys and camber kit. My 3/5-6 kit gets ride of oem shocks. if you want less of a drop i offer a 2/3-4 that also keeps the autoride working fine but for 3 inch front and keeping autoride you will need keys and spindles and that set up does not ride as well as the 3 inch arms mated to the belltech sp shocks I sell in my kit

So you're telling me with 20s and a 3\5 with auto leveling this beast is still going to ride close to stock? That blows my mind!

3/5 and get ride of autoride ride nice. With autoride on 00-06 in front its hard to keep good ride. Spindles and keys for 3 inches is less travel then stock

Ive got the djm 3/5 drop with BT street performance shocks and my ride is total shit. I bought the kit used, so thinking maybe the shocks just need replaced as ive put another 12k or so on them, but one way or another, Im determined that this year I will get a halfway decent ride back without going back to stock height... I read the whole thread on the bilsteins, and im wondering if I'd be better off going that route or springing for some adjustable qa1's or kings or whatever? I have no problem spending the money on quality parts, but I dont wanna throw a grand into shocks only to have it still rattle your teeth and sway back and forth on the highway like it does now. Ive considered the front coilover conversion, but I really think the big issues are I the rear, so I want to address that first. Any input is greatly appreciated

ok lets start in front. Are they the silver belltech sp shocks?

in rear are you running
djm 5 inch springs
djm hardware kit with endlink relocators and trailing arm relocators?
did you do the free travel mod on rear end by cutting off the bracket?


Ive done tons of these trucks and my custom 3/5-6 kits ride excellent. If your using the djm rear springs get rid of them i have some that work and ride nice but if you didnt do free travel mod in rear no matter what you unless you cut that bracket the truck will always ride like crap.

Dont get me wrong, I'm not ready to dump the kit, I just wanna make it ride better. I bought the kit used, so im thinking the BT shocks were maybe just on their way out when I got it but it has gotten progressively worse over the last 14 months or so that ive been lowered. I would have no issues replacing the rear coils if I knew it would correct my issue, but I thought these springs were supposed to ride pretty good too. I just figured shocks were the logical first step before springs

Change rear sprungs snd shocks to belltech sps. Total 390 shippes.

Also endlinks only torqued to 30 to 35 lbs?

Do you jave the new version with zerk fittings?

If your rig is swaying back and forth its a shock issue, especially if its getting worse as time goes by. I would just replace the shocks and go from there. I have not had good experiences with Belltech shocks.
