24 look the best imho. But you will have to look out for potholes, curbs, etc. Wheels will get damaged far easier on 24" with the skinny tires. Ride quality will be a little harsher.
22" are a good compromise.

Our 24" ride better than our stock 20". Ride is harsher IF you buy a ****** tire. We noticed a HUGE difference going from Kumho to Pirelli. Night and day.
This is on my wife's daily driver. Lowered 2/3 as well and hauling 2 kids.
If you are going to buy a wheel and throw on a low quality tire, you will have a ride quality difference.

I had 24's on my Tahoe and I suffered a little ride quality for them. The factory 22's are the best in terms of ride quality. I'd def go TBSS rep 22's! Gas mileage dropped 1-2 mpg with the 24's also.

Yea I've had factory 20's, factory 22's, and aftermarket 24's and the factory 22s are definitely the way to go. You will notice it is harder to turn the steering wheel and less breaking power with the 24's too which you don't see as much with the 22's.
I did not notice any of this.
