Ive got a few questions. I am ready to Buy. I am looking to get a 2/3 drop and upgrade to some 22s. I want to keep it family friendly much as possible. Has anyone have any Gripes or problems with alignment issues with their investment? Living in NE the roads around here can go smooth to pot hole city really quick. I want to keep the Front end close to stock as possible and not interfere with turning my 4wd. Thanks guys

Well, mine are coming in Monday so I cannot give input from experience.

But when I was ordering the Belltech 2/3-4 drop kit I considered getting THESE on the advice of a knowledgable member who was of the opinion that they were better as far as alignment.

However I was told by another knowledgable member that that is only a concern for bigger drops ... in his words:

"... the McG ones are shorter and make for a better alignment when one want to drop down to a 3" front drop or more but you are only looking for a 2" front drop so the alignment factor does not apply to you. Outside that, the Belltech ones are just as good."

So I went ahead with the Belltechs.

I really don't know enough to advise anyone, so I'm just passing on what others have passed onto me.

Cheers!

From what it looks the spindles are pretty much the same size, except the fact that the Hole where the axle and bearing mounts is higher on spindle. I gather that how the Drop is achieved. So if this is the case, alignment not going to be a issue.

I've got coil relocators coming with the idea that I can drop the front as little as 1" with them. I have the 3"-4" springs in the rear, and I think that the combo (since the rear is very adjustable with the autoride links) will be perfect.

I'll keep you posted. I realize that I'm not going the spindle route that you're asking about here, but thought I'd tell you about a different option.

You will have absolutely no issues with your new spindles and your alignment specs will not change as they would if you were going with a lower front spring. As far as the ride, the 22's will change your ride quality more then anything, assuming you have 20's or 18's now. I would say that your truck will ride about 90% the same, the other 10% goes because of the stiffer smaller rear spring. I speak from experience. Ive re-lowered my 07 Escalade 3 times LOL. Going with different set ups. spring 2/3 drop, then spindle 2/3 drop, then spindle 3/5. Good luck!

My turning radius was not affected by the Bell Tech spindles, mine were great!!! The only drawback to them is not being able to run 17" wheels once installed.

If you have OE shocks, Ive been told they tend to bottom easy if more then 1" drop is used
