Well not sure all manufacturers are in the exact same situation. While I'm not in a hurry, I won't wait forever to get something. And I definitely won't take something missing what I consider essential features. I've actually been talking with some Jeep dealers about the upcoming Wagoneer L. They have offered to put an order in for me and I haven't heard them mention these same constraints that the Yukon has. The biggest unknown of the Wagoneer is pricing as that hasn't been announced yet. But since production starts Aug 10th, I suspect pricing is not too far away. I prefer the GM solution with that Duramax. But again, a product isn't any good if you can't actually get one.

Agree. I’m not a huge fan of the Expedition but now that Jeep has an L version, there are more options for us with large families. I’ve been eyeing the Wagoneer and if GM doesn’t come through with our Suburban in the next couple weeks, I will certainly be shopping elsewhere.

Checked in with the dealer on my 20223-20223 Yukon SLT order. He stated the luxury package is constrained and it’s looking like October before they can put the order in for the 2023.

Anyone know if the order number changes when it moves from a 22 to a 23?
Yes it does, as dealer has to reorder it to make it a 23 order as once 22 irders closed, any left in the system not picked up for production will just be ignored and left to sit

Putting in my order for '23 Yukon Ultimate today. Dealer said the only constraint was illumination packages, and that Super Cruise was on the order and available. I'll believe it when I see it...

Started this process in April putting in an order for a 22 Tahoe premier 4X4 5.3 with sunroof and Heads up display technology package. The order unsurprisingly didn't get picked up as a 22 as I suspected it wouldn't following these forms. Today the dealer called and my order was finally accepted but I had to get rid of the adaptive cruise and the max towing to get it accepted. Supposedly according to the dealer they accepted everything else, but as previously reported the adaptive cruise is out and I was told they don't know which they will implement first the adaptive or the super cruise when it does come out. He said sometime in the next 10 days he should get a TPW, but we will see if that pans out to be true or not.

It was not. The only weird thing was that they said Super Cruise was required on the first orders, but they don't actually have the components to build it with SC. I told them I'm fine with whatever gets the truck built the fastest.

Has anyone been able to actually get an order approved for a Tahoe High Country with the diesel recently?I was told by a dealer in Georgia that High Country’s are on constraint until August, but then hear others say otherwise. My local dealers don’t have any allocation for High Country, so they didn’t even want to take my order. I’m now trying to decide if I should buy a used ‘21 until the ordering process returns to somewhat normal.

I initially tried to order a 2022 Tahoe premier in November 2021 nothing ever happened but I found it that it was the salesman so I was given a new salesman around the 1st of July 22. He told me that they were closing down orders for 2022 and he should get some allocations that week. He received allocations and my order was approved July 6 for a 2023 Chevy Tahoe. They said there were constraints on cruise which I care nothing about I never use cruise. I was able to get everything I wanted ordered. On July 14 salesman said tpw was July 25. Received update yesterday that event code was 3400. I wonder how long does it take to actually produce a vehicle.
