we went ahead and placed an order for a 2023 at a local dealer - order has already been accepted...will be interesting to see how it progresses since we sat at 1100 for 2 months on our other one
If you were at 1100 on a 22, it wont ever get picked up. And your dealer didnt tell you that you would need to reorder it as a 23? Laziness on your dealers part.

we had a mess of trying to get out from under a 2021 Yukon...had orders placed since December at the dealer where we originally bought the yukon...they didn't relay any info about constraints or anything, let us place an order with RES even though the rumor mill was that it wouldn't be available until 2023s...

ordered at another dealer and it sat at 1100 for 2 months until it was built in March and delivered in April..already have over 10k miles on it and not really trying to make anything off of it (if we do - thats fine but I doubt we will)...went with a darker color - something we've stayed away from since we aren't in the city and wife hates it...just looking to get something to hide the dirt better

i had found numerous 22s in transit, but no real ETA and markups are still prevalent...but just about every one that I talked to either said or acted as though the market adjustment was negotiable. talked to the dealer we bought the 22 from and he said they had several allocations so we just went ahead and ordered a 23...it may get here sooner than some of the 22s that are in transit

I was just informed by a truck mover that dealers can not sell 2023 vehicles until October why build something and have it sit in a field so rats can eat on the wires. They can keep mine I will buy in October.

Seems like RSEs are getting built on all trim levels - here's a '23 Yukon XL SLT w/ RSE --> https://cws.gm.com/vs-cws/vehshop/v2/vehicle/windowsticker?vin=1GKS2GKD2PR104995&bac=119446

Your dealer is thinking about the '22 constraint on RSE that was at zero for most of that production year. It could still be on constraint, but they are at least building some of them.

What does seem to be on zero constraint is Max Tow and Pro Safety Plus packages. I can't find a single '23 model in transit that has those options. Also, looks like there's ~10 Duramax Yukon XLs in transit across the entire country. Not a zero constraint, but highly constrained nonetheless... This isn't looking good for my Yukon XL SLE w/ Max Tow, Pro Safety and Duramax order... :(
I’m showing 257 Pro Safety Plus Packages and 159 Max Trailering within 2k miles of my zip code for 23 Yukons.

I know and that’s what I told him but he is saying that the dealer can not sale it until October. Received a letter from Chevy stating that my 2023 Tahoe had been produced but it may take up to 12 weeks for delivery . That’s crazy I can drive the 6 hours to the plant to get it. Let me focus on God and forget about this truck

I was in touch with a local dealership that has a '23 RST in transit and they offered me to reserve it for $1,500 refundable deposit. I am waiting for my '22 RST that was "produced" in late May 2022. The only thing missing from the newer '23 RST is the luxury package, which I ordered for the '22 RST, so I didn't pull the trigger (although highly thought about doing so). The dealership's '23 is a retail stock order, not even a customer's order. That means dealerships are getting models for the lot that haven't been sold yet.

that makes me sad that my RETAIL SOLD order that chevy has had accepted for a month that was supposed to get built this week got bumped back 6 weeks. they can build vehicles for the lot, but cant build my ordered ride that i have been trying to get since i ordered it in may as a 22 and then reorder as a 23. That is such garbage. retail sold should be priority over just random builds for dealer lots.... sorry, dont mean to rant, just irritated is all that now 23's are getting shipped and mine gets bumped, when they accepted my vehicle and it had zero restraints and a build date. I really feel for those that have taken nearly a year to get theirs from order to delivery.

Saw a dood already sold one 23' Ultimate on the FB group for 15k over sticker.

Does this mean the 6.2's are off constraints?
