Throttle body acting up

I've been having problems with my throttle body for a while. When I go get start my tahoe it gives me the reduced engine power message. Once I go under the hood and unplug the throttle body for about 5 seconds and plug it back in the message goes away and all is will. Now yesterday I went and replaced the throttle body and boom it's doing the same thing. Now when I but the throttle body on I didn't unhook the negative cable if I should have.

Might be the plug itself. The copper inside is known to break without damage, visually, to the outer insulation. By you unplugging then plugging it back in probably just resets it.

EDIT: When I said plug, I was referring to the wires coming from/to it. The pigtail.

The problem you are encountering could be caused by a broken wire to the throttle body from the control module. I think the module is mounted on the firewall next to the left hood hinge. You may have to carefully remove the wires from the loom on the right side of the intake manifold. Inspect the yellow wire for an internal break. The wire will feel limp in a location of a break. Inspect all the wires in the harness to the tps and throttle body the same way.

I would second that possibility based on the shotgun shell of codes thrown

I had a whole new pigtail that connects to the throttle body rewired, and sanded my big 3 grounds, and my reduced engine power went away all together...

Would do it at low throttle, sometimes before the engine even started , it would right into it... have to wait and restart it and it would be fine... but having to pull over on the side of the freeway doing 75 on cruise and all of a sudden, BING!!, I lose power, and have to pull over and do a restart, pissed me off...

Could be those other things, but i bought a ac Delco pigtail and it fixed my issues..

How much was the pigtail? Gm wanted $168 Just for that. I bought an aftermarket. But I'm still having issues. Have a link?
