Throttle plate stop screw adjustment

What happens if I messed with that screw on the throttle body that is for the throttle plate? Will it cause the engine to run rough or idle rough?

I was an idiot and messed with it thinking that would lower my idle last summer.

It certainly won't help anything. If you turned it down the worst that would happen is dying at stops or starting and stalling. The IAC motor will compensate.

well it keeps the body bore from getting eating into from the throttle blade movement as it nears complete closure among other things. do not ever touch it again.
