Does not do it on cold start only will do it after it warms up. It increases with engine speed. I can hear it sitting inside the tahoe. Sounds like it is coming from the passenger side

My hoe has the same thing.. Slowly developed over the last year and a half. Definitely more noticable on the passenger side than drivers. Is it possibly that the valves are out of adjustment and is that something that can be readjusted? Definitely sounds like a valve tick to me

OK will take the valve cover off and check to make sure everything is good up there. If not what could it be

Rod or bearing maybe?

Oil pressure... does it maintain at least 10psi for every 1000rpm? It looks a little low, but not incredibly low for that engine.

Noise... could be as simple as a loose rocker. Easy fix. Pull the passenger valve cover, start the truck up and then slowly loosen the first rocker til it taps loudly. Tighten it slowly til it stops tapping and then go 1/2-1 turn more. Move on to the next until all 8 are done.

If the tapping never goes away during that process, it may be internal. Hard to tell specifically from that video though.

How do you check to make sure everything is in adjustment in the valve train?
