Recently I'm using mu 97 Yukon GT for heavy off-road use. It was leveled (torsion bars adjusted). with 33 tires. Last Saturday left tie rod broke in the joint. Look for some 3500HD tie rods but all use the same. Any of you know about any heavy duty components or tie rod from another car that could be installed with some modification?

Any help will be appresiated.

Looks for a day and just find Synergy tie Rods.

Rabbiporkchop: You have Dana 44 or Dana 60? Which 4x4 use driver side Dana 44?? Ford with reverse pinion? 6 lugs hub could be installed in the Ford Dana 44?

I'm interested in doing this in a near future. Any reco will be appreciated.

It's a 79 F250 8 lug Dana 44. You can convert over to 6 lug Chevy outers using that axle, although the Ford brakes and bearings are beefier.

That's about as strong as it gets without a Dana 60
