First time poster here. Hopefully soon to be first time Yukon owner within the next 24 hours! I'm purchasing a 2013 Yukon Denali. :happy3:

So I think it's going to be a very tight fit in my garage. Width of the garage is 93" and height is 80". SO here is my concern. GMC lists width WITHOUT mirrors at 79". Folding the mirrors in I feel will have room with the 93" garage. BUT the height listed with GMC is 77". I have 80". Does anyone know with certainty if this 77" includes the roof rails or not??

Yes, I know I could just test drive one home but I'm buying this one 2.5 hours away tonight. In order to test drive I would need to cancel the purchase tonight, test drive with a local dealer tomorrow, then purchase the next day if it works. So ANY help would be greatly appreciated! Would love to know the heights of other garages that have Yukons parked in them. Thanks.

Yep, tape measure just to be certain. If all else fails and you get home and your just a little too tall then just lower the denali :rocking:

I've got a tape measure with me. Just have to eyeball it I guess. Wish GMC, Chevy, or Cadillac would just tell us if the height includes the rails and give us a width with mirrors!

I'm willing to bet you won't bother putting it in the garage after the first few days. I'd guess the folded mirrors will add 4" per side, so you'll be fitting an 87" wide vehicle into a 93" wide garage. Any slight right or left angle on entry and you'll scrape, will be too much work to try to shoehorn it in with 3" to spare on each side.

Plus, if it was me doing it, I'd be on the phone and forget to fold the mirrors sometime in the first month or so.

on gm's websites 2013 denali = 76.9 and the escalade = 75.9
I'm thinking they would include it in the overall height
Esky roof rack (on the denali) is around 2''

going to be a tight fit but you should sqeeze it..

..or just raise the roof!

Your measurements make this the oddest sized garage I have ever heard of unless these are measurements from the actual openings. I have 7' doors on my garage, which yes you may have a little less due to actual opening but my old Yukon fit just fine. I am guessing you have a standard sized 7' single door garage and yes it will fit unless they built some crazy openings.

I fold my mirrors in every time I pull in the garage or park anywhere for that matter :D

I was wondering the same. Maybe it's some crazy door. All I know is my lifted truck has no issue fitting in my 16x8
