Where has it been considered delicate? I've been into car audio for quite awhile, and most everybody on DIYMA, the best CA SQ forum out there, has been very happy with it.

Rockford subs are a terrible value, period. WAY overpriced and sound sloppy, they're loud, but sloppy.

You figure anything out with the speakers yet? Interested to see how your build goes.

Basically following ablades list all reviews seem pretty good.. Except I'm going front and rear comps bc I play my music 65% through rears and the rest through the fronts...Ik I'm crazy... Also I'm looking at getting a tablet or carputer to eventually put in but I'm not sure what to get yet that may come later in spring I'm waiting for a breakthrough in tablets if it doesn't come by then I'm going carputer... I'm so excited about this stereo though I haven't seen one negative thing about it yet..

OKAY so im starting this up again but only for a budget build (as of now) im still looking to replace speakers and do the 2 12's and kicker amps as suggested but for now im focussing on the stock enclosure in which i will be putting a 10" shallow mount Sub woofer in...Having problems deciding on what I want people on here said they liked the pioneer which i have always been a fan of them but on diyma im getting all mixed reviews

right now im looking at :

Kenwoods shallow mount-eXcelon KFC-XW1000F Peak watts 1000...4ohms

Pioneer's shallow mount-Pioneer TS-SW2501S4 4ohms peak 1200watts 90db $120

not really looking to go over 120 i may back it down to the Peak 1000 watt or 800 watt pioneers only because these are replacing the factory sub and i rather dump $$ into the new stuff in the spring what do you all think?!?!

get 2 12in alpine type r's with a rockford fosgate t1000 at 1ohm...yeah buddy!! kicker amps are good but are huge and my t1000 is like a foot long 6in wide. one of the best amps on the market for what you pay for em(got mine on ebay for 350 retail like 600)
for door speakers you cant beat focal 165a1 6.5 componets with a 4ch focal solid4.
