I am blinded by lights at night so I need the little extra percentage to help out.

You will get used to it.

Its better to get a lighter tint front window and a 50 windshield than a darker front window and a 70 percent windshield.

My Ford has 20% over the factory rear tint, 5% tint on the front windows, and 35% tint on the windshield. My Chevy has 5% over the factory rear tint, 5% on the front windows, and 35% on the windshield. Most of the time you can't see in the front window of my Ford except for really sunny days. You can't see inside the Chevy unless the sun is pointed directly at the window.

As far as night tine driving, I guess its all up to your headlights. I can't even tell that the windshields are tinted on both trucks.... even in heavy rain.

I tint my windshield on every car 50 percent is a good start. As far as the comment above. Don't expect to tint your windshield 35 percent and not notice a difference. There is definitely some super night vision characteristics in night rider.

If it's a daily driver I would go 20% on the sides and 50% on the windshield. I have 35% on the windshield of my truck and it's plenty dark at night. But I love it in the daytime!!

what do you guys do about inspection/registration stickers? 50% would seem kinda nice but scraping stickers off every year makes me wonder if its worth the trouble..

It can get annoying but I do it over every two years. It's worth it to me I'd probably do it if it was every year too.
