Tips for Changing the spark plugs

It was a royal pain changing the plugs, especially number 8, on my ‘05 Tahoe. There was nothing easy about it!

My funny part is that I got #8 without too many problems. It’s the driver’s side giving me fits.

I got my Denali done from the top side, including #8. Just had to find the right combination of extensions and u-joints. Probably took me about 45 minutes to do all 8, with about half that spent on #8.

I just use a spark plug wrench with a 1” extension and a flex ratchet. Works on my 6.0 ls car with headers that’s tighter as well.

what??? f that id just burn it when the tune up was due.

thank goodness its sparkies only get changed every 100k miles, so once every 7 yrs ain't so bad.
