Tips on debadging?

The Central Coast (SLO county), California.
I'm tired of looking at the ******, peeling plastic molding all along the sides of my truck. I know people debadge all the time, but I have no knowledge of how to do it. Plus, I'm a little scared at what I might find under there...

I don't even know what kind of tools to use to save as much paint as possible. Any tips?

A heat gun
3M eraser wheel
Drill

Heat up the molding to loosen up the adhesive behind it and pull. Do a one foot section at a time. Then take your 3M eraser wheel and get any of the left over adhesive, won't take much pressure.

Agreed! I just did this a week or so ago. I didn't have to use the heat gun because of how effing hot it is here in Dallas. But the 3M eraser wheel is definitely the way to go! Package should look like this:

Ain't that the truth. I'm about 2 hours north of Dallas in Wichita and it's so ******* hot!!!!
