Do you mean with a code reader or the DIC? Cause my 05 shows each tire pressure in the DIC. are you saying 2004 model year doesn't do this or you can't do it on your code reader? Cause I thought 03+ do this with the DIC. but code reader probably not, that's why I was surprised previous post said his code reader shows it, I have yet to try mine to see. What code reader and app are you using Jedi-GT? Did you test the 16 psi against a real physical tire gauge?

Never owned a chevy and did not know that they showed psi in DIC, that's cool, especially that old of a year model. I know that the newer fords also do in the DICs but you have to have the higher end models as well.

My 04's owners manual is very ambiguous about this, saying it may show a reading or just throw a warning light when low. I've only seen the warning light. For you guys that are getting the readings in the DIC, how does it come up?
Thanks

My 04 tahoe is not full options but it is a Z71 ... no steering buttons.

Mine only throws the code "check tire sensors" which means I need to plug in a tech 2 it any code reader.

Plugging in the code reader showed that the sensors reads 16psi in each tire. Which made me know it's the sensors.

I went and picked up delco sensors to replace the after market darn sensors. Took them to the tire shop to replace them. But, it wasn't that easy, the darn sensors did not include the bolt nuts to hold them in place. Yes ... they come separately ... I had to go to the shop and pick them up again. I had to wait 3 days to get them in.

Went back to the the tire ship AGAIN and got them switched and then reprogrammed them.

No code ... as good as new ...

My loss was few bucks to get them on ... off ... on again.

I got a little discount though.

I usually go with delco but that time was a one off the usual for me.

Always go with delco friends
