Tired front struts, already replaced the rear with Bilsteins (not available for the front)

I was wondering the same thing.

Bilstein doesn’t have a kit for GM that allows a replacement cartridge to slide into the original strut like the German vehicles use.

Are you referring to the large nut at the top of the strut assembly that connects to the shock piston?
If I remember correctly the "hat" / plate component of the assembly was thoroughly rusted to the top of the shock where that large bolt goes on. This was 6 years ago now so I'm a little fuzzy on what exactly was wrong. I remember looking for a replacement piece sold separately but couldn't find one.
