Looking to get replacement and need to hear feedback and recommendations. Michelin Defender LTX MS or Bridgestone Dueler HL plus? I am hearing mixed reviews on line !!!!

What did you decide? I need to make the same decision, and I'm really torn.

Bridgestone duelers are garbage. I had them when I bought my 2006. The gmc dealership I bought it from in 2015 had to put new tires on it to legally sell it and they put duelers on. Worst tire I’ve ever had. Quiet and soft ride. But they don’t corner worth a damn. And no good in rain and snow. I’ve had two sets of Michelin’s since then and they were hands down the best tires I’ve owned. Go with the dendender LTX. It’s the best tire option for these trucks, especially for you on 22s. Good tread design that gets excellent grip in all conditions and it’s an incredibly smooth riding tire that’s also quiet. It’ll last you a lot of miles as well.
Duellers are an average tire at best. For some they are fine. For me I wouldn't take them if they were free (well maybe, lol). They came on the last few trucks I purchased and you will not realize how ****** they are until you go with a good tire. The shop thought I was nuts replacing the Duellers on my 2 week old Escalade but it made such a difference. Currently have the Defender LTX and its a totally different ride.
