tires?

Trying to make a dicision this weekend. Is anyone running 275/70-16 tires on 2002 2wd yukon and do they fill out the wheel well like I hope with no rubbing? Thanks

what tires did you find in 275/70-16?
I don't believe there's many choices out there

Is your truck lowered? If not, they will not fill out the wheel wells. Theres guys on here with 305/40/22's on drops and they dont fill the wheel well.

I am also looking at these. 1 step wider than stock. Goodyear makes them in the fortera line. Anyone else have them? I've been looking at every tahoe/yukon in every parking lot for this size, and have never seen one in person.

after looking,

they have BFG A/T's in 275/70-16 (special order)
and they are cheeper than the stock size (265/70-16)

this may be the way I go,

I really want wider,
but don't want the power loss (gearing change) from going taller


choices in 16" suck

tmik, did you end up going with the tires size in your post? If so, can you post a picture or two?

Thanks for the info - made no decision as the stock tires I have now are fine just wanted somrthing a little beefier but with no gear or brake probs. Been doing the same thing looking at every Tahoe/yukon in the lots for ideas. Afraid the 265/75 combo might be to big or cause probs on stock vehicle.
