I have had my 05 Denali now for 8 years, it just ticked over 130,000 miles, and the only real work I have done to it is the drivers air damper/actuator. We just got back from a ten day trip whitewater trip, and this truck pulled trailers down dirt roads like a champ, and made the 22-hour drive home without a hiccup.

Great truck, for those that seem to think these trucks are unreliable.

You just never know with these vehicles, luck of the draw.

My 05 Escalade has had the transmission replaced before 80K miles, at 90K miles I've rebuilt just about the entire suspension and will be replacing the steering box soon. All of it is shot. Starter, alternator, and battery also replaced.

My old roommate however has an 06 Denali that she neglects so badly it hurts me to see. She's never serviced any of the fluids and waits until months after the oil life shows 0% remaining before getting around to changing it (she runs conventional oil). She just turned 170K miles on it and the only thing replaced on her truck was the suspension air compressor. Even the plugs and wires are still the originals. Her truck runs, rides, and shifts excellent.
