Don't waste money on lift keys. You can max out your stock keys to the droop stops. The rough country 2 or so in lift doesn't really help much with ride and wear on parts. Go full lift. It'll be less stress on all your front end parts. Cranked keys wear them out quick. Maxxed out keys wears them out like crazy. If you don't go with a full lift expect to rebuild the front frequently. I had a truck with lift keys cranked up a good bit. And my front end was completely shot. Cranked a few inches won't hurt too bad just a rougher ride. 2 inch blocks will bring you up to level if you go that rough. I'd invest in a really good set of shocks as well. Something to accommodate the cranked keys and block. Bilstein would be go to.

Yea I want a lift but I need to save for that, because I want a shop to install it. I like the way it rides now (nice and smooth) so until then I'm going to trim the bumper and trim the fender behind the tire to eliminate the rub, I really don't want to do any cranking to the keys if I don't have to. It still sits 1 inch higher in the front than in the rear, so I'll put a block for now, or not, depending on how the fender and bumper trim goes

Shouldn't have to buy a lift kit, I have cranked keys and 2' blocks on the rear. I had 285/75/16 Duratrac's and no rub.
