Be glad you found out this way instead of during a more serious emergency situation!

This reminds me of another experience:
I blew a brake line in my S10 and had a small engine fire. A flex line off the master cylinder had been rubbing a header tube and I never knew it. I slammed on the brakes one time to test the ABS (light was on) and it ruptured, spraying brake fluid all over the header. I debated for about 2 seconds on letting it burn, but concluded that insurance wouldn't pay me shit compared to what I had in it and that snapped me back to my senses. I ripped the windshield washer hose off of the bottom of the hood, reached through the window to hit the washer switch on the steering column and went all mini fireman on it.

So- the newest update to this build is a full set of stainless steel brake lines, yeah?

I talked to my buddy today and right now he's gonna just replace the one line, as it stands now. But he hasn't had a chance to look at it yet because he's swamped until Wednesday. But while he's at it I'm gonna swap in the nnbs front brakes with steel braided brake lines. Might as well.

Ah, yes- the classic WIHIMAW disease.

After slamming on the brakes and blowing a brake line, I felt a little more shaking in my steering wheel, so I had all 4 wheels rebalanced. Of course I had to redip all 4 rims after I got them back. Machine lifted some spots. I also sprayed all the lead weights black, as they we're exposed through the rim slots. And just for the hell of it I spray primered the rear rotors and then sprayed them black. Didn't take any pics tho. I was also able to measure the center hole for some kind of center cap--3 1/4. Damn rims don't even have a name or manufacturer stamped in them.
