Did you get your build sheet?

No. I saw that thread (or threads?) about the build sheets and thought about getting it. But, I don't really see the point at the moment. I think I already know pretty much everything pertinent about my rig. Or is there some more info in those sheets I should have?

What I would like to have more than a build sheet is a full service and prior ownership history. I know private mechanic shop history wouldn't be included, but any dealership service/repair history would be cool to have.

Have you tried going to your dealer and asking? I'm not sure, but I think as long as it was serviced by a gm dealer it would be available.

... Tahoe was a trim option on the S10 , so there

This reminded me of my first ride, a '91 S10 Blazer 2-door. It was loaded with every option except leather and a sunroof and had a digital gauge cluster. I bought it in either '99 or '00 and sold it around early '03. Back then, the cool thing to do was to color match interior plastics. Mine was tastefully done and I even painted the "S" on the glovebox door emblem. A few years after selling it, I was out in the boondocks heading to a job when I saw it parked in someone's front yard with the front end smashed. I stopped to get a few "final" pics and the owner let me snag the glovebox emblem as a memoir. I don't know where those pics are at the moment. But, about 7-8 years after that day, I saw it on craigslist for sale as parts and it looked to be sitting at the same house:

I haven't. But that's the plan next time I'm out that way and have a few minutes to kill. I figure any new Chevrolet dealer can access this info, though. I just never think about it and when I am in town, I'm on company time in my work van that's tracked, so I can't make unnecessary stops.

Carfax report will show somewhat on dealer maintenance and vague ownership. There used to be a way to get them for free but I think Carfax caught on and fixed it.

I then swapped out my interior lighting to leds. I like it. Much brighter and cleaner, whiter. For some reason the map lights look blue in the pic, but they're white. View attachment 79895
I saw this trunk organizer in a Crown Vic and it looked like it would fit. View attachment 79896 View attachment 79897 View attachment 79898 View attachment 79899
Fit the bill perfectly.

Ha!
I had that same setup in my 2004 Crown Vic LX Sport.....and still kinda miss that car.
