That's some whack news buddy. Hope it's nothing major. But if you need a rebuild at least you know you'll be good for a long time. Excuse to upgrade.

Finally got to the tps pigtail today. Didn't run into any issues, even tho the new pigtail had all white wires. Just make sure you do one wire at a time. I went back at least 10' and cut and spliced the new wires in. I used some dialectic grease and then used some heat shrink. I don't have any pics of the process, but it's pretty straight forward.

Nice, def want to know how you like it....

Btw what about trans?
I still have reverse, so I'm hoping that's good news. I'm gonna try to make some calls tomorrow. Hoping for some good news.
On another note, I installed the HD hood liner. I had the underhood light that I wired up and installed an led bulb. That wasn't hard, but I installed some led underhood strips, I wired them to the hot lead going to the stock underhood lamp. Everything lit up great, but the strips wouldn't shut off once the hood was pulled down. I tried every combination of wiring but I couldn't figure it out. I even tried running a wire to the mercury type ballast inside the light housing. No good. I just left it for now.

The switch inside the light housing probably interrupts the ground not the hot. Wire both sides of your strips to both sides of the underhood light, positive and negative.
