theres a rental tool for the fan, large wrench and a another long tool with two little rods coming off it, they go into the pulley to hold it, then you do the old push and pull deal on the two tools.

or you put that large wrench on the nut and swing a BFH at it. how i got my last one off.

Clutch fan should be right-hand thread, so left-loosey (counter clockwise) to remove.
Lol, what you guys sayin'? Lots of doodads in dere? It was getting dark when I threw all that together, I said f* it lol! Seems to be my mantra lately.
I thought the fan was reverse threads til I yt'd this video--
I did use a big wrench and a hammer. Tried wacking the shit out of it--NG.

Put a piece of pipe over a big crescent wrench or go get the loaner tool. You need to make that thing your *****.

Once I wedged a wrench with a long piece of pipe between the frame and steering box I think. Then I used the starter to turn the motor over thus breaking the fan free. It's been a long time and I genuinely can't remember if that worked but I still have the giant crescent wrench with the handle ground down to fit whatever size pipe I had at the time.
