nah ac is 4 rib, i think its a tensioner for ctsv or corvette ls2 years. in my post i say the tensioner doesnt work cause its offset wrong, but the pulley itself can swap over on the other tensioner
Ah OK. I was confused for a sec.

Ok, I finally installed my electric fans. Followed instructions to the letter. The fans aren't kicking on. It actually overheated while running. Stuck the correct wiring/color into the corrects pins, into the pcm. Everything else was pretty much self explanatory. Should any of the plugs going to the fan be hot at anytime? I even tested the plug that the 2 fan leads terminate to. I bolted the constant 12v to a hot pole in the fuse box, and I have a good ground--I tested it to make sure. I assume you had them turned on in your tune.

To test you could pull a relay and put a jumper wire between the 30 and 87 terminals and see if one or both turn on. I think there are three relays total if I recall. One for each fan and one for both if I remember correctly. If you are unsure of which terminals to jump look for the two with heavy gauge wire going to them.

To test you could pull a relay and put a jumper wire between the 30 and 87 terminals and see if one or both turn on. I think there are three relays total if I recall. One for each fan and one for both if I remember correctly. If you are unsure of which terminals to jump look for the two with heavy gauge wire going to them.
Which relays? Do you have a pic hopefully? I suck at wiring and no clue how to read schematics.
I'm going to call Monday and make sure it was turned on in the tune, or maybe even drop the pcm off.

If they weren't turned on in the tune, would they still turn on by jumping the relays?

What's a good way to test the fans now that they're installed?

I was under the impression as @kbuskill stated that for the pre 2005 trucks to get them going they needed to be activated in the trucks tune.
FIXED!!
It was instructional error. I had the constant 12v bolted on a constant hot pole under the plastic fuse panel. I moved it to the constant 12v "red box" next to the alternator. Fans work as they should.

Glad you got it sorted! I define it’ll like the electric fan set ups! Plus the added benefit of not having to disassemble them should you need access to the water pump, t stat, and belts is so nice! So much room to work!

I couldn't believe how much faster and easier it was to install the belt. So much nicer.
