Bought a replacement set of rear lines. When the rearend was replaced the mechanic must've broke one and neglected to tell me. He replaced it with a stock rubber brake line. That's just unacceptable. Didn't even tell me he broke mine. View attachment 448765

Another fine mechanic you hired? You seem to have he worst luck with them. Hope you can get it sorted out @Tonyrodz !

Yup. I'll never go to him again.

Correct, the fluid is coming from the hard line but I figured since I had to mess with that side I might as well replace that line. It originally had the aftermarket braided line I had installed but the moron must've not disconnected it before dropping the rearend and broke it. He replaced with a rubber line without even telling me--that's what I'm really mad about. Accidents happen, but he must've thought I'd never notice it.

Damn that sucks that happened had the Stop Tech lines when I had the Esky they were a nice upgrade

I finally worked on the rear ds brake line. The guy who originally did it was a butcher. What happened was i blew the rearend, so I paid a shop to swap rears. I supplied the new/used rearend. We'll, I found out much later that the shop farmed it out to a guy. He must've stretched/broke my braided brake line and replaced it with a rubber line. Didn't even tell me. He also replaced the steel hard line and used the wrong type of flare. So anyway I installed a new braided line and used a bubble flare--Thx @Fless --. It now stops when I step on the pedal.
This is the flare he used for the brake lines connection.
I kept messing up the flares. Found out I was using the wrong size.
Thank God I'm done. Now I need to use the Tech2 to bleed the abs--anyone know the correct process?
Also gonna swap the trans solenoids!

Oh yes. Months. Now I need to do the trans solenoids. Hopefully it'll fix its current issue--well not really current, it's been happening for awhile. It's like someone throws it in neutral while you're driving. No rhyme or reason, it'll just randomly do it.
