Can your torsion adjusters loosen up themselves causing sag? I have an 02 Tahoe, and just added 285/70/17. I cranked the torsionto level out the front, and to correct the sag on the left front. I noticed today my left side seems to be lower again. Any ideas what this could be? i will need to re measure, but when I did this over the weekend...I meaured at 37" rear, and 36" in front. I have not checked left side to see how much its come down.

Thanks!

i doubt the bolts would loosen up on their own, they are under pressure or tension and it would be very hard. might just be settling from when you did adjust them or your tire pressure might low??

Wax...thanks for the input. Tire pressure is right on as these tires are new. I double checked too. I'm thinking about buying the Rough Country set up I saw on Ebay with the 2.5 torsion adjusters and shocks. Do you know if the level lift will give me 2-2.5" higher lift than my stock adjusters? I'm guessing it will but I need reassurance! Thanks for the help.

Well, if they are advertising legitimate lift specs than you should see ~2.5". You may even see more if you have gotten some sag out of your stock bars.

Thanks Cameron. I guess these torsion keys are bigger, or indexed differently than stock one.

They aren't different in size but keys are indexed differently for lift, drop, etc...

While we're on this topic, how much extra lift can you typically get out of stock keys? I may need to crank mine up as far they'll go with my new summer tires....

Generally speaking you should be able to get it to almost level...your ball joint angles are the limiting factor.

Thanks.

This is all new to me, so forgive the dumb questions:

How, or can you, raise you the rear? Seems like the keys are only in front....

Spring spacers can be used in the rear. You're limited by the shock extension but you should be able to get an 1/2"-1" w/o an issue with spacers.
