Totally stumped have cmp question

So I have a 07 l92 motor And I'm changing all the vvt stuff but as I'm doing the cmp sensor I see these tabs on them that's not on the housing, did they give me a incorrect part? Because I don't see any kind of slots on housing??? Ftw??Screenshot_20240516_194537_Photos.jpg

Nope, that's the right part. Mine was the same.

Cool thank you yeah so as i was throwing it in and torqueing it to spec it snapped right off flush so that's what I'm battling now lol just about ready to buy a whole new timing cover and be done with this bs

Well that sucks. Yeah, those bolts don't take much to break, unfortunately.
