Touch sensitive door handles?

Is it possible to install touch sensitive door handles to lock and unlock the doors? Something like what BMW and Lexus, Etc have?

Carry a fob that allows this when its range?

nope. haven't seen it yet, but my buddy installs those systems. Just waiting for him to do it on a Yukon or Tahoe so i can see it.

however, it says it's only for a 2010-2012 so I don't know how or why it won't work for earlier models

What's the price like for something like this on the Yukon Denali's?

It looks like the system is $650-$800 plus you would need to install. Looks pretty cool althoug it appears to only come with the drivers door handle. I was hoping it would come with a passenger door handle as well. My lexus IS250 is what I was basing my idea on.

I wonder if since it is located near the vcim if you did a swap for a 2010 will it allow it to work.
